Evoro is a national hazardous and liquid waste management company formed from four established Australian businesses — Cleanway, Global Resource Recovery, EnviroChoice and Lee’s Environmental Services — with a combined operating history reaching back to 1996.
Who is Evoro Group?
The group operates through Evoro and associated entities including Global Resource Recovery and Direct Waste Management SA.
What distinguishes Evoro is that it owns its infrastructure. Waste is collected, classified, treated and recovered within Evoro’s own EPA-licensed operations rather than brokered to third parties, giving clients a single point of accountability and a continuous, auditable chain of custody from the point of generation to final outcome. Its technical capability is led by an in-house team of chemists and chemical engineers who classify difficult and unidentified streams and develop new recovery pathways.
Where does Evoro operate?
Evoro operates across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, through a network of facilities spanning four states. Treatment is led by its flagship plant at Laverton North, Victoria, with liquid waste treatment at Stapylton (Queensland), the group head office and rapid-response base at Smeaton Grange (NSW), and further sites at Ingleburn (NSW), Campbellfield (VIC), Cooma/Polo Flat (NSW) and Adelaide (SA).
From this network, Evoro provides scheduled and ad hoc collection, 24/7 emergency response, and recurring national service contracts across both metropolitan and regional Australia.

What does Evoro do?
Evoro delivers across two complementary streams of work, supported by one technical team and one compliance framework.
The first is liquid and hazardous waste: collection, treatment, recovery and compliant disposal of acids, alkalis, solvents, paints, aerosols, oils and oily waters, glycol and coolants, sludges and powders, PFAS-contaminated materials, and laboratory chemicals — including unknown and unmanifested material — from small packs and drums through to IBCs and bulk tankers. This stream also includes glycol and coolant recovery, grease trap and septic processing, and 24/7 emergency and spill response.
The second is industrial and infrastructure services: non-destructive digging and hydro excavation, service locating and potholing, vacuum truck services, tank, drain and pit cleaning, high-pressure clean-and-capture, guardrail installation and road asset maintenance, and graffiti removal.
How does Evoro approach waste?
Evoro operates a recovery-first model: it treats waste as a potential resource to be reclaimed and reused rather than simply a liability to be disposed of. Its flagship Laverton North facility processes up to 60 million litres of material a year and diverts approximately 95 per cent of received waste from landfill. The facility recovers reusable product from waste glycol to up to 90 per cent purity, returning a usable commodity to the market.
This recovery-first approach directly supports Australia’s national circular economy targets, including the National Waste Policy Action Plan’s goal of 80 per cent average resource recovery across all waste streams by 2030.
Why does Evoro's model matter to clients?
Because Evoro owns the collection, transport and treatment chain, it maintains an unbroken chain of custody and generates a complete documentary record for every engagement — waste classification and manifests, transport certificates, treatment and disposal records, and certificates of disposal where required. This allows clients to evidence their own compliance, support their landfill diversion and circularity targets, and reduce the long-term cost and risk associated with hazardous waste.
Evoro holds itself to the standards expected of a Tier 1 waste partner, with an integrated HSEQ management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 at its Laverton facility and group-wide certification underway.
What can clients expect?
Clients engaging Evoro can expect a single point of accountability for the full lifecycle of their waste; access to in-house chemists and engineers for difficult and unidentified streams; a consistent preference for recovery and recycling over disposal; complete, auditable documentation; and 24/7 responsiveness with the operational discipline to deliver on schedule.
Evoro and its founding businesses are trusted by industrial, government, infrastructure and commercial clients including Ecolab, Nufarm, CSL, James Hardie, Sydney Water, Fulton Hogan, SA Water and Western Sydney University.
