For a century, industry ran in a straight line: extract, use, discard. That model is closing. Landfill costs are climbing, regulation is tightening around what must be recovered rather than dumped, and the businesses Evoro works with are now measured on what they divert, not just what they make.
A circular economy answers that, but only if the capacity exists to make it real. Collecting, treating and recovering the hard streams safely and at scale takes licensed facilities and skilled people, and that capacity has to grow as fast as the ambition does. That is Evoro’s part of the work: we recover complex liquid and hazardous waste at our own EPA-licensed sites across the eastern seaboard, taking on the streams most operators turn away. What the Circular Economy Award stands for

2026 Industry Awards
The 2026 Chemistry Australia Industry Awards were held on Thursday 25 June, the fourth annual gathering of the chemistry and plastics industry. The evening was hosted by The Scared Weird Little Guys, with a keynote on resilience from Steven Bradbury OAM.
