OUR CAPABILITIES

Liquid and Hazardous Waste

Evoro Group provides safe, compliant collection and treatment of hazardous solid and liquid waste across a broad range of industries. Supported by EPA-licensed facilities and a certified team of chemists and chemical engineers, we manage complex waste streams from collection through to treatment, recovery or disposal — within a controlled, fully documented process.

One operator for every form your waste takes — solid, liquid or classified dangerous goods — collected safely under the correct controls.

The reactive, flammable and corrosive streams that demand careful handling are routine work for our trained operators.

From a single lab pack to a bulk tanker load, we collect waste in whatever format it comes in — no volume too small or too large.

Unlabelled drums and unknown chemicals are no obstacle. Our chemists sample, identify and classify material others won’t touch.

Every stream is routed to the right outcome at our own licensed facilities — recovered where possible, treated and disposed of compliantly where not.

A complete, auditable paper trail on every consignment, so you can evidence your own compliance from collection to final destination.

Why Evoro

Why does hazardous waste need a specialist?

Hazardous waste carries significant risk if it isn’t managed correctly. Generators must meet strict regulatory requirements, ensure safe handling and transport, maintain accurate classification, and keep complete documentation at every stage. Incorrect classification, poor handling or delays can result in compliance breaches, safety incidents and operational disruption. Evoro Group is structured to carry that risk on the client’s behalf.

Our Process

Which specialised waste streams can Evoro Group treat?

Our chemists and engineers develop treatment solutions for complex and difficult streams, including:
01

Acids and alkalines

Corrosive streams neutralised and processed to a controlled, compliant standard.

02

Oils and oily waters

Separated and recovered, returning usable material to the market rather than to landfill.

03

Sludges and powders

Difficult semi-solid and particulate streams managed through the appropriate treatment pathway.

04

Wash waters

Contaminated process and wash waters treated to compliant discharge standards.

05

PFAS-contaminated material

Accepted and treated under EPA licence using controlled flocculation and absorption to meet discharge standards.

What about PFAS?

PFAS contamination is a complex, long-term environmental challenge.

Known for their persistence and resistance to degradation, PFAS compounds require carefully controlled treatment to achieve safe, compliant outcomes. Evoro Group holds EPA-licensed capability to accept, treat and manage PFAS-contaminated waste. At Laverton, PFAS-contaminated washwaters are assessed against licensed acceptance criteria and treated using controlled flocculation and absorption to reduce concentrations to compliant discharge standards. Where contamination exceeds treatment thresholds, approved external pathways ensure safe disposal.

Yes. In laboratory environments there is no margin for error. Unknown substances, unmanifested inventory and strict regulatory requirements create significant risk if handled incorrectly. Evoro Group provides a specialised service to assess, identify, segregate, collect and manage laboratory chemicals, supported by in-house chemists and chemical engineers — trusted by schools, universities and commercial laboratories.

Recovery comes first. Evoro Group recovers reusable product from streams typically destroyed — including glycol at up to 90% purity, oils and certain chemicals — returning material to productive use rather than landfill or incineration. Where recovery isn’t possible, waste is managed through controlled treatment and compliant disposal.
